About CAPSS

  1. Clean Air Policy Support System (CAPSS) estimates the annual emissions of 9 major air pollutants (SOx, NOx, NH3, VOCs, PM2.5, PM10, TSP, CO and BC) that emit from pollutant sources (in the forms of point · surface · mobile).
  2. The emission data produced by CAPSS are grouped by pollutant, source, and region and offered in diverse statistics through the National Air Pollutant Emissions Service.
  3. CAPSS data are utilized as supporting data for national air quality policies, the Total Air Pollution Load Management System, air quality forecasting, a comprehensive plan for air quality improvement and an implementation plan for air quality management at a regional level, and as basic research findings for assessment of policy impacts.
